Blakewood's
unique interior with a full stage and raised platform areas
for seating provide a warm and intimate atmosphere to enhance
your special day. We work hard to accommodate individual
preferences, from food and drinks to musical entertainment
and can help you every step of the way to plan your day.
Licensed for Civil Ceremonies and Partnerships as well as general
celebrations and parties, it has a capacity of up to 80
seated and up to 150 for a reception. Blakewood's beautiful
grounds offer superb photographic opportunities throughout
the day. Car parking facilities are available which can
also accommodate coaches if required.

Planning
Your Day:
Date - If you have a particular date in mind for
your wedding or party it is always advisable to book
early. If you are flexible with dates then please
call us as bookings can always be made at relatively
short notice. This is particularly the case if you
are considering a Saturday or Bank Holiday weekend.
Numbers - We can cater for up to 80 people seated
or 150 in total inside the venue. If you are considering
a marquee to take advantage of the grounds outside,
then more guests can be accommodated.
Timings - When planning your wedding day allow
half an hour for the civil ceremony, 1¼ hours for the
drinks, 2½ hours for the meal and then a further ½ hour
for the speeches. |

Menu
- There is a selection of suggested menus that we
provide. Please see the menus listed. Guests with
special dietary requirements will be catered for separately
although we will need to know their numbers in advance.
Children - Children can either eat from the main menu
or else will be catered for separately.
Wines - We have a selection of wines for you
to choose from which are suitable for all palates.
A wine list is enclosed and prices start from £12.50
a bottle.
Alternatively you may wish to consider bringing your
own wines. Corkage will be charged.
Water - We serve bottled water, still or sparkling,
at £3 a bottle
Tea/Coffee - We do not encourage the consumption
of tea or coffee. If served it is priced at £2 per
person and can be served with or without chocolates.
(Chocolate can be supplied by the bridal party or
by Blakewood as a supplement.)
Music - If you wish to have music at your event,
you are welcome to have a disco or a band. This is
something that we can organise or you are welcome
to arrange yourself.
Bar - A cash bar can operate throughout the
night. Alternatively, a bar account can be set up
whereby guests can order drinks which can be charged
to your account. This money must be paid in advance.
Cake - You are welcome to arrange your own
cake to be delivered. Cake cutting is usually carried
out after the dessert or indeed the cake can be the
desert. There is an additional charge made for cutting
the cake or serving wedding cake of £2 per head.
Flowers - Flowers can be arranged through our
in house florist or you are welcome to organise this
as well should you prefer.
